SYHF high quality sf6 insulated ring main unit Switchgear, SF6 is a colorless, odorless, non flammable, and chemically stable gas. Compared to alternative solutions of air insulation, this feature makes the design of switchgear more compact. Gas molecules can absorb free electrons and prevent the formation of arcs. When the current is interrupted and an arc is formed, SF6 gas decomposes into different components and then recombines, effectively extinguishing the arc. This helps to quickly extinguish the arc and restore the dielectric strength.
